I can't believe I haven't blogged for this long. Not much going on around here just trying to pay bills, buy food and stay warm.

We didn't think Christmas was going to happen but thanks to a wonderful friend Jesse got gifts and had a wonderful Christmas. Thanks.

We had dinner Christmas day and had friends over. Later on that day Bobby, Chris and Benjamin came by. They had their girlfriends with them. So we got to see the grandbaby anyway. He's growing so much.

We took 3 weeks for break. I think we were both kind of burned out on school so we took an extended break for it. It has helped some but I don't know. I've been wondering if I should put her in public school. I don't know. It's hard making those decisions.

New Year's we were home by ourselves. Bob was out on the road. He works all thwe time and we are finally getting things caught up a little. So maybe it'll turn around soon. I hope so.

Hallowen

Well another Halloween is over with. This will probably be her last year. We took her to the mall this year and to a church for trunk or treat. She won't walk up to the houses to trick or treat. A couple of years ago she got the bejezees scared out of her so now she's scared to walk to the doors. So I won't have to be aggravated by it anymore unless it's a party to go to.

Bob started another job. I hope to God this one is a better company and the checks will be consistant and not up and down all the time. This last company he worked at , I don't know how any of the drivers made a living driving for them. They don't give them enough miles. He sat a lot with them and when a driver is sitting they are not making any money.

Other than that not much else going on.

Bad Blogger

I can't believe it's been over a month since I blogged. Not much really to blog about I suppose. We just been sitting at home not doing much. At the end of September we had the family reunion. It was fun. Quite a few people came this year. Several of them was the first time they had come to it.

We just stay home and compute and homeschool. She's working harder on math right now. Maybe she has finally come to realize she has to learn it and may as well try anyway. LOL That wouldn't be my luck.

Our furnace has been on the nlitz so I've been using the kerosene heater. It gives me headaches though. But it does warm it up.

I guess that's about it. Oh Jesse has been dog sitting this week. She made 50 bucks for it though. So she's in money heaven right now. LOL

Oh What A Day (Yesterday that is)

Well I did a good one. I thought I had a blackhead on my face. Yes I am a masher, can't stand it. If I know I have one on me I just have to mash it. Well I went to the bathroom morrior and looked and it seemed to be one. NOT. I mash it and blood starts flowing out of the place. I have blood running down my cheek on my blouse and the floor and even my toe. LOL No it's not funny but now that you think of it you have to laugh or I do. So I have blood pouring and can't get it to stop and I have toilet paper in my hand applying pressure and it still isn't stopping. So I call mom. Mom what do I do? I can't get it to stop bleeding. So she tells me keep the pressure on it and lay on the couch flat. So I do that. I've went through toilet paper, 3 paper towels and laying on the couch with a fresh one. Jesse keeps bringing me a fresh one. So the next thing I know, knock, knock. It's mom and my step dad. So she looks at it and all and tells me you need to put ice on it. So Jesse gets some ice and a wash rag. I put that on there for a while. It starts to alow finally. I manage to get a little band aid on it and it flows over it. So I put another one on top of it. So now I really look freaky. I have a bloody shirt on and two band aids on my face. But it did stop bleeding . The only I can figure is instead of mashing a bump I cut a blood vein.

Then we go for a walk every evening. So I go do my thing to go. As I'm walking down the darn stairs I fall. Yep I fell down the porch steps. So my left leg goes up under and behind me at the same time, my right leg does something else and my hand is trying to catch the fall at the same time. Let me tell ya I had no idea my limba could even move into those positions anymore if they ever did. So I don't know what happened to make me fall. But I got up today and my feet are hurting, my anklles, my legs and my right hand. My middle finger is swollen and hurts like hell. So I guess I sprain it or bruised it badly.

Oh well days like this happen but it had been quite a while since it happened to me. LMAO

Fair

We went to the state fair on Monday with Michelle and Kaya. We went to the World Championship Horse Show and she loved it. It wasn't my cup of tes but the reason I went was for her.
It was my first time going to it. I have never wanted to go and didn't have the desire to go to it but it was kind of fun.

The rest of the week was spent at home just hanging out and homeschooling. Nothing glamorous. Oh we did go to Mom's for two days.

I got her health book and a new World History book. So we start those next week. Now I need to find her a good reading list.

I started getting more scrapping done, finally. I have been in such a funk lately and haven't really done any. I have kept up with my 365 and it has helped to scrap about thigs that have happened.

Tanner

Well we finally had to make the awful decision to have Tanner put down. He had two seizures Monday and another one Tuesday. They really did a number on him this time. He was acting different this time after having them and it lasted far longer than it had before. He wouldn't lay down, eat or sleep. He didn't use the bathroom for a day and a half. Do I called the vets office to take him in. I knew this time we would have to do it. We had thought of it before but never went through with it. I just couldn't don it, ya know. We got to the vet's and he looked at him and said he was healthy. Jesse told him about him being hit by the car last year and then he started having the seizures about 6 months later. He said that was probably what caused them and it was brain trauma. Well I kind of knew this. He talked to us about the seizures and meds. he said they may work or may not that he couls still have them. He also started talking about brain damage and that was why he probably didn't eat or go out. That the nerves in his brain had went haywire and he forgot how to. So he said it was more humane to have him put to sleep. (don't ya just love that damn term) So we decided to. Tanner seemed like he came around for just a few seconds and he looked at me with those big brown calf eyes he had as if to say It's ok mommy. Then he went back to the staring . So the vet gave him a sedative and when it started taking effect he had a small seizure and I held him in my arms and told him it was OK just go to sleep and the pain will stop. You won't suffer anymore puppy. He went to sleep after the sedative took effect. Then the vet gave him the shot. He layed in my arms til he went to sleep forever. He took three deep breaths and he was gone. Forever. I'll never see him again. God I miss him too.

A boring Saturday

Hey everyone. Good morning. It's early for me and usually I'm not up this time but around 10 or 11 am. I was up til 3 am and up at 6 am. Bob had to leave. Bobby and Benjamin stayed the night because Bobby was going to take Bob to Sellersburg, IN to pick his truck up. It had to be worked on. So early day.

Not much has been going on. I started walking a few months ago. I figured I needed to get off my fat ass and get to moving. So I have stopped so many Cokes and snacks. I did it for my diabetes so I could get a better grip on it. It still runs high but not as high as it was. Instead of being in the 2 and 3 hundreds now it's like 150 to 191. So that's good for me. Plus I have lost 33 pounds now. YAY me.

We started back to homeschooling this week. I can't believe it went as smooth as it did. She did great. No complaining, crying or a fit. She did everything even math. So good job to Jesse.

So I guess today I'll clean house since Bob is gone. Need to finish up the laundry. Joy joy. LMAO

Monday

Nothing new going on. Just sitting at home chillin with my hubby and daughter. She has a friend staying this week.

We finally got out of school. She passed all of her end of year tests. She did good in all of them except for math so I'm making her do 'summer homeschool' for that to help her. Hopefully she'll get it.

Other than that not much else I suppose. Bob's birthday is on Thursday. He'll be 59 this year. So we didn't know if he'd be home or not next weekend so we fixed his cake this week.

Well it's Over

Well the funeral is over and now everyone has gone their seperate ways and trying to deal with it all. For the ones that don't know my granny Opal died on the 19th. It was 3 days after her 77th birthday. They think it was a massive heart attack. I'll miss her cause I was visiting her in the nursing home and she wanted me to feed her. I never thought I'd ever be feeding my grandmother one day. But now I am so thankful I got to do a little something for her.

Busy, Busy, Busy

I can't believe it's been this long since I've wrote on the blog. A lot has happened. Jesse's play was wonderful. She and the other kids did a fantastic job on it. All of them had their lines down. They had a great time after the play just playing and running around.

tanner is still having seizures. He had two the other day and even quit breathing with the second one. I just know one day it's gonna kill him.

I had my birthday on the 10th. I turned 41 this year. Ah where does the time go?
I've been giving Jesse her end of the year test this week. So far she's done good on the ones she has taken. Next week she'll be finished and we'll be out of school til August.
